Step 1: Download the installation package

If your CPU is manufactured by AMD or is not of the Pentium 4 generation, download the package for all pentiums

If your CPU is a pentium 4, download the Pentium 4 package

To download simply click the hyperlink of your package and select a temporary directory where the package should be saved.

Step 2: Unzip the installation package

The file created on your hard drive after the download is a ZIP file. Go to the directory where the file is and unzip it.

Step 3: Run the setup.exe application

When you run the setup.exe application, if the MLA setup wizard finds that some components are missing on your PC, the following screen appears.

It list the missing component or missing components. Above, one component is missing, the Visual C++ Runtime Libraries. Be sure your are connected to the Internet before proceeding.

Click the install button, MLA will download the missing components and install them automatically. If there is no missing components, the setup wizard directly goes on with step 5. There is no missing component on your PC if you have already installed MLA preview 1.

Step 4: Download missing components

MLA downloads the missing components and installs them.

During download, the following screen is displayed:

During the installation of each missing component, MLA displays a dedicated screen for installation. Sometimes, for example if MLA needs to install the .NET framework, several screens can be displayed, including licence agreements and so one. Simply proceed with the "next" buttons and follow the instructions.

Step 5: MLA's setup wizard welcome screen

At this stage, all required components have been installed, the MLA setup wizard displays the following welcome screen.

Step 6: Select the installation directory

Click Next, the following screen is displayed:

On this screen, if you want to change the installation folder, click on the "browse" button and choose a directory. If you want to install with default options simply click on the "next" button.

Step 7: Confirm the installation

The wizard displays the following screen:

If you wish to proceed with the installation, simply click the "next" button.

Step 8: The wizard installs MLA

The system displays the installation progress with the following screen:

Step 9: Complete the installation process

Once the installation is complete, a final screen is displayed:

At this stage the installation is complete, simply click the "close" button.

The installation wizard has created a shorcut in your start menu. To run MLA simply select the start->programs->MLA->My Lovely Abalone shortcut.
